These Michigan Northern/Upper Peninsula Waterfalls are located in the Munsing, Michigan area, while the Tahquamenon Falls is located near Paradise, Michigan. Munsing Falls drops about 50 feet over a sandstone cliff. Other falls in Munsing include; Miners Falls, Scott Falls, Tannery Falls and Wagner Falls. The Tahquamenon Falls/Upper, has a 50 foot drop, while the Tahquamenon Falls/Lower is smaller. During the late spring runoff, the river drains as much as 50,000 gallons of water per second, making the upper falls the 2nd most voluminous after only Niagara Falls.
