Gallery 13: Pictured Rocks/Munising – Northern/Upper Peninsula in Michigan

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a U.S. National Lakeshore on the shore of Lake Superior in the Northern/Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It extends for 42 miles and covers 73,236 acres that has extensive views of the hilly shoreline that have been naturally sculptured into a variety of shallow caves, arches, and formations resembling castle turrets and human profiles. Bridalveil Falls, Miners’ Castle, Rock Arches, Chapel Rock, and Grand Sable Dunes are truly remarkable.
