Glacier Bay National Park is a national park located in Southeast Alaska west of Juneau. It occupies the northernmost section of the southeastern Alaska coastline, between the Gulf of Alaska and Canada. The park is named for the abundant tidewater and terrestrial glaciers, numbering 1,045 in total. There are seven tidewater glaciers in the park; Margerie Glacier, Grand Pacific Glacier, McBride Glacier, Lamplugh Glacier, John Hopkins Glacier, Gilman Glacier, and LaPerouse Glacier.
