Seville is approximately 2,200 years old and has passages of various civilizations that were instrumental to its growth. Seville was founded as the Roman city of “Hispalis”. Seville was taken by the Moors, during the conquest of “Hispalis” in 712 AD. Several of Seville’s locations were used as sets for the filming of the “Games of Thrones” series. One set example, is the “Alcaraz” was used to represent “the water gardens of Dorne” for the filming of the “Games of Thrones”, as it created some realistic views for that time era.
